Nepal is a landlocked central Himalayan country in South Asia. It is also known  as second richest country in water resources. It is famous for agro-based and tourism. It is also renowned all over the world, because of it's natural beauties, the highest Himalayan Mount Everest, born of the founder of Buddhism, Gautam Buddha and bravery of Gurkhalies. It covers an area of 147,181 km2 (56,827 mi2 ) and is the 93rd largest country. It encompasses grassland, mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, hills and many more.


Population of Nepal is 26.4 million. It has 5 development region, 7 provision, 75 districts and 744 local units including 4 metropolises, 13 sub-metropolises, 246 municipal councils and 481 village. It is covered by only 2 countries, China in the North and India in the South, East and West whereas China is one of the most powerful country and India has the 2nd largest population in the world. Nepal has a diverse geography, including plain fertile lands, subalpine forested hills, and eight of the world's ten tallest mountains. Among eight world's tallest mountains, Mount Everest (8848 km) is the highest peak mountain all around the world and also got the highest point on earth. Kathmandu is the heart of Nepal because it is the capital and largest city of Nepal. It is a multi ethic nation where people live together with unity and sovereignty with Nepali as the official language.

It also have 3 landforms region. They are Terai region, Hilly region and Himalayan region. Terai region is located in the southern part of Nepal. This region has fertile land and cultivatable soil. Hilly region is located between Himalayan and Terai region. Hilly region is mostly covered with hills. It is rich in natural scenery like rivers, hills, forest and so on. Himalayan region is the northern part of Nepal. In this region, There are many Himalayas like Mount Everest, Annapurna, etc. So, Our country is categorized by the massive mountain ranges.  

Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Sikhism are some of the religion that people follow in Nepal. There are 4 caste and 36 sub-castes. People in Nepal lives in mutual understanding, Harmony, brotherhood. They really practice in unity in diversity. The followers of one religion respects the followers who belong to another religion. People speaks different languages and enjoy different modes of cultural, traditions and festivals.
